Curramore is a beautiful rural location in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, nestled in between Maleny and Kenilworth. We don’t get many jobs here, so we were delighted have the opportunity to tackle the roof of this house that was desperately in need of a clean. The roof was not too steep, and there was a generous veranda around the outside, Queenslander style. Houses in this area rely on tank water collected from the roof, so our first task was to isolate the water tanks from the downpipes, ensuring the dirty water didn’t enter the tanks. Next, we set up on the roof with the Jetts surface cleaner, and using just pure water, cleaned the grime from the centre to the edges. Next, we rinsed all the sediment out of the gutters, making sure they were completely clean. For the last step, we cleaned the outside of the gutters using the Jetts telescopic pressure wand. As you can see from the before and after photos, the results are spectacular.
